This was my consideration for the price going on him for the Ultima too Q.

Not one I've got onside for anything yet, but will be keeping an eye on him. I think I'd prefer him in the Plate anyhow, so maybe I should just back him for that regardless.

That Paddy Power preview must have been watched by every punter in the country, so many price cuts on back of the panels picks...

            • Have we had any hint on which race Seddon is going to show up in from John McConnell?

That’s frustrating, nrnb anyway, but still.

Possible weather has changed their thinking.

                        • Just watched So Scottish's 3 chase runs back, trying desperately to find some love for him, a big emmet gamble to floor the bookies? Yes please.

But he cannot win jumping like he has been. No chance. I think there's more chance of him pulling up then winning.

                          Tell me im wrong?

Trainer John McConnell is putting the finishing touches to his small select team of runners set to represent the stable at the Cheltenham Festival next week.

                              • I really like Midnight River for this, especially with the forecast as it is. However, I can't quite get my head around the price discrepancy between Midnight River and Stolen Silver. Stolen Silver will be 3lb better off at the weights for a 2 length beating and is more than three times the price.

While I still prefer MR, and think he was probably value for more than the winning margin suggests, Stolen Silver is weighted to confirm form with Il Ridoto, who is a quarter of the price.

I'm not going to be going wild, but can anyone put me off a decent saver on stolen silver?
