    Cheers Moby.
As someone who doesn't own an account that gets NRNB I can't tell you how close I was to hitting the only account I can play, the 9/1 Unibet.
Thankfully I have a mate who landed at Gatwick about 2 hours ago who was contactable and I got 8/1 NRNB.
I think I got lucky, and hope he doesn't go, and that I learn from this...

      • Big Fish = Moby123?

Not a big stretch for Forum Members is it? - seriously

Of course you can believe him if you want to.

He would like that very much.

You lost Spectre posting for most of this year partly because of him.

How many more of us do you want to stop posting?

          • The weights are embargoed and the Irish ratings until after the press day tomorrow at Noon.

I have spoken to the BHA about it yesterday,

Thats on the BHA website and on Twitter now, confirming it.

I had it confirmed to me yesterday as I spent hours tracking down that Embargo and Press Day information.

Trying to identify Jack Kennedy or Davy Russell's ride isn't easy.

Gordon left out Ash Tree Meadow at the last minute and has only entered the following.... (unless I've missed one)

Battleoverdoyen 140 IRE (surely not a No1 ride)

Call Me Lyreen 141 IRE (hurdles 145 IRE)

Escaria Ten 151 (Heskin rides if runs ?) And no winner of the plate ever off mark of 150 or above.

Fil Dor ? (I'd say unlikely)

Gevrey 134 IRE (proper under the radar type this one so not sure)

Hollow Games 147 (needs another run asap and has an entry, But Gordon has said arkle is the plan)

Riviere Detel 149 IRE (likely for the mares)

Mars Harper 131 IRE (might not get in, and low weight jockey might be needed)

By my deduction it's either Mars Harper, Gevrey or Call Me Lyreen.
Mars Harper may not even get in, and if he did I doubt Davy would ride at such a low weight.
Gevrey looks sketchy. But is a possibility as never heard it mentioned once and ran in a flat race charity thing the other day.

So I'd side with Call Me Lyreen and have backed him and Mars Harper NRNB.

Call Me Lyreen won the big 2 mile handicap at the Dublin festival last year (138 IRE) and then had to run in the county off a mark of 152 (Basically top weight with a claimer taking 7lb)
He finished midfield 16 lengths behind state man, conceding him 11lb (minus the claim if you value that)

I'd say if he can escape with 4 or 5lb UK tax that some of his chase form gained over the summer makes him competitive.
In the 2 most valuable races he's ran in. His run just behind Visionarian conceding weight reads well, so does his running well alongside Kemboy and easy game until falling 4 out.

If he gets the best jockey the 33-1 NRNB would look a gift, you'd like to have under the tree.

Was just looking back there to see if anyone had put up lyreen as he’s only just entered my radar basically for all the reasons you’ve mentioned. He’s definitely worth a bash off 145 at those prices imo. My main concern would be he might need the run and this could have him primed for the punchestown festival that he’s won at before. But at 33/1 it would be rude not to have a nibble

If the handicapper is right the bottom rating will be 133/134 so Frero Banbou will be fine. This came from RacingTV "Road To Cheltenham". It was on TV last night but think the one hour show is on YouTube.

                    • I think he'll be fine too Mark. Venetia may press the button for the Grand Annual if she's less sure than us though. He can't hold two entries if she keeps the entry in the GA.

                      • Do we think Venetia will run both Frero and Gemirande here?

Gemirande slightly lower in the weights and has been running well this season.

He caught my eye for his weight alone.

Gemirande running tomorrow at Newbury - Getting 2 stone from the 2 at the top that love the course.

Hadn’t spotted that, thanks for that.

Wonder if Venetia will be wanting to win to make sure he gets in the plate?

                            Currently sitting at 56.

Possibly, 40/1 available, although I’d be wary how much they put him up for beating those 2. They are fairly decent yardsticks for handicaps.
