I know off a mark North of 150 he won’t appeal to everyone but he’s a class act and that Paddy Power form looks hot…
It appears this is often the case.
Did someone once tell you that they are the best horse in the race and it's stuck with you ?
No horse rated over 150 has ever won the plate.
Been telling you this for 5 years now.
If you won't listen to me, listen to Queen Elsa.

Granted the early onset of dementia may have started but I can't remember ever backing a topweight in a festival handicap.
And the topweight for the Plate is usually mid/upper 150s, French Dynamite should be a good few pound under that.
But yes, the chances are there'll be a 135 with a stone in hand who's spent all Winter getting beat the length of the straight in 2 milers...

Either there's been a reason for that or Venetia's been placing him in the wrong races for the best part of 2 1/2 years.

I was looking through his form yesterday and thought he travelled well enough at the DRF, but for some mistakes. If he can iron them out then he could be in with a shout. Certainly an E/W shout, and 16's was big enough to entice me in.
I know it's farfetched to use it exclusively or as an exact piece of solid form, as Mighty Potter wasn't particularly great on the day, but that form line looks OK now.

Frero Banbou 33's (NRNB) for me. Venetia entered him 2m5f at Cheltenham in January but pulled him out for some reason. Third in the 2022 Grand Annual staying on, now on a much lower mark having run & been too slow at 2m but picked up some cash for 3rd/4th placings. All eggs in the Plate basket which is a race she's won 3 times before.
I've also had a very small EW @ 40's on Coole Cody who won this in 2022 by 6L. He's on a lower mark now. Accept he may have 'gone' but also a chance he's being lined up for one last hurrah.
