I think he could be abit of a talking horse across the preview nights especially comparing the French form and his improvements FTO over here.
agree that he could also only go one way in price given a few in the market won’t run and his target has been confirmed

A ten year old French horse, for Phillip Hobbs, single figures for a festival handicap chase, gonna go off fav?
Read it back.
I'm only joking, just very surprised... when he won at the weekend I didn't even think about Cheltenham for him.... looks like I am very much in the minority though given the prices!

It's only ever happened once. And he wasn't really a novice, as it was his third season chasing.

He was also very well fancied last yr over hurdles & flopped badly. Each to their own but if you can win this off 152 then he’s a border line G1 performer - and I personally just don’t see that myself. All a game of opinions though!

Last year doesn't bother me as he was injured mid race so the performance was explainable, but I thought that was very tidy LTO. Horses have run to a similar level and gone on to win G1's at the festival, so he could very well improve and be on that borderline. He'd need to be to win off 152, but its happened before and it will happen again.
