Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

A half brother to Monalee and a full brother to Monty's Star, suggest this horse has been campaigned at the incorrect trip throughout his career so far and that he could be 'well in' going out in trip.

He has both solid novice hurdle and chase form, considering the trips he's mostly been campaigned at.

Finished well enough in the Martin Pipe (6th) last season too.
Does look a bit like a gordo plot that one

Bit of blue for that race too, to be fair. Think I might cover him for that. I'm keen on him wherever he turns up.

Definitely been running over the wrong trip all season. My thoughts were the jump from 2m to the Plate at 2m5f was more plausible than the jump to 3m2f for the Kim Muir. I'd love to see any stats for previous Kim Muir winners having to win/run over a certain trip, similar to the Ultima.

Obviously Mount Ida went 2m > 2m > 2m4 (beat by Colreevy) then straight to the Kim Muir, and well, the rest is history.

She came from the p2p sphere though.

I imagine there will be a few who stepped up to the Kim Muir trip for the first time and won, it’s whether any have gone from 2m to 3m2f that would interest me.

For trends, the Paul Ferguson book doesn't have any trends for trip but just has a note that the 4 winners before Angels Dawn showed good form over a shorter trip. Looking at last 12 years, none of them raced over 2m then up to 3m2 skipping the mid distances over fences.

He’s 23 on the exchanges for the plate still as opposed to 9 for the KM, looks KM bound to me

Big old jump up that though . Be a hell of a plot if he goes KM and is successful. I'd be thinking Plate too but I'm not Gordon!!

It's enough of a jump to put me off backing in the KM to be honest. Probably eat those words but it won't be the first or last time.

Won't be doing anything until Decs time but if he is declared for the KM I'd be very interested.
