It makes you wonder why Irish horses are able to plunder the handicaps. On one hand we have elaborate plans involving tongue ties, and on the other we have a trainer announcing to the world on the eve of their race that a festival target is one which the horse is currently rated too highly for by 3lbs

I just wonder if Gordon intends running Floueur in a different race.
Could he go for the Plate, have another crack at the Pipe or even the Ultima?
And I say that as someone who backed him with the Kim Muir in mind. I thought he was being plotted for the race but today's effort certainly wasn't part of any plot and I agree with others that he'll now be sailing perilously close to 145.
