Mount Ida stepped up from 2 and a half to win it. Milan Native stepped up from 2 and a half to win it. Form Footings has ran over 2 and a half over hurdles but a big step up to 3m2 from his 2m chase runs. I'd be with Jackie for the Plate but I backed him NRNB for the Grand Annual, Plate and Kim Muir as I'm a fan of him.

Stayed at 131 apparently so will be touch and go whether he gets in

Chavez getting 138 means the weight would be ok for Patrick also, unless like I've said before he gets an outside ride

Firm Footings a sea of blue today for this today.

A half brother to Monalee and a full brother to Monty's Star, suggest this horse has been campaigned at the incorrect trip throughout his career so far and that he could be 'well in' going out in trip.

He has both solid novice hurdle and chase form, considering the trips he's mostly been campaigned at.

Finished well enough in the Martin Pipe (6th) last season too.
