The Cheltenham Festival Sale 2025 looks fairly uninspiring today and there are no geldings I'm tracking still included. Katkoriko was the headline act for me, and I was expecting a big price for him, but he's been withdrawn. He's currently on my 4yo P2P horses to follow list at present.

The statement they put out prior to the festival about crowd sizes was definitely a bit of advance management.
55000 on tuesday and 41000 yesterday.
Yesterday was the worst crowd since 1993.
They didn't go far enough in any of the measures.
I reckon a lot of changes for next year, on the track and around the meet in general, unless they're really thick (probably blame the snow or something mad like that)
What made me laugh was the bullshit about the better welcome we'd get.
When I went on Tuesday I was in three different queue's before getting in the fucking place (that's not including the Q to get out of the train station), and we were at centaur entrance for 12-30. Took 15 minutes. No fucker smiled except all the fucking dogs.
Although credit where credits due, they removed the alcohol barriers and you could walk around with your pint.

Average bay on course, could defineitly feel the dip in atgendsnce. One takeaway is ask the bookies for better odds m, I got 25 vs 20s, 9/2 vs 4/1 et , just for asking multiple pitches.
My sister got every price she asked for, to the point that buy a ticket for a female would pay for itself - that's not sexist but every time I gave her a 20 for a 10 e/w bet she got whatever price I told her to try and get. Never done it before but ill
never take the prices they are offering on site again
