Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

        • I am disgusted with the McNeill daughter’s behaviour and comments regarding Masaccio. The part owners ashes are coming back to the UK next week. She seems completely oblivious. Spiteful piece of self entitled shit.

          • I have a question for you guys. How did you get into betting antepost and The Festival in particular?.

For me I stumbled across this site and read about people having double figures against Samcro in the Ballymore and wondered how. I’ve been betting since I was about 5 years old (thanks dad) and used to skip school for Cheltenham but never considered betting antepost before.

Good question - I been betting on the festival for a few years having caught the bug for it ... and used to lurk on the not606, betfair and the racing forum ... and in particular a guy on the latter (Venture To Cognac) had basically just backed every horse in one race but at massive odds on betfair and I was really intreagued as I'd not seen that approach before

Ended up stumbling across this forum and asked a lot of questions (FM, Ista, Old Vic, Mayo) all stand out from back then... and I just started putting more and more time in to it

I don't believe there is a better place on the internet for ante post punting here, whether it's single dart or building a book

              I'm biased though!

There isn't. The combined brain power, stats and trends and bits of inside scoops make it unrivalled. Now you have access to the members section Pisto. If you go and click on a diary, you will see how the season begins and ends and some of the processes members go through. Everyone will be different but the end goal is the same whether you are doing a book or a one horse one race type.

Saw FM's historic win and started lurking for a few months after my first festival when I was still in sixth form until sign ups opened again and haven't looked back, by far the best place to talk racing, no nonsense stuff with lots of knowledgeable people, compared to when I'm talking racing with my old man and he thinks antepost is stupid yet I'll be going back to watch the festival with him next week with some nice coupons

Don’t be surprised if in a few years time you and your old man are on the same page

It's interesting you mention Samcro. I saw somebody on Twitter mention Samcro for the Ballymore at 16-1 and decided to back him for whatever reason. I only casually watched jumps racing at the time. Every few weeks I'd check in to see how the horse was getting on and eventually it got to the day and to my surprise he only went and won! I decided I wanted a bit more of that and here we are.

                        I can't remember.
Must have stumbled on this site at some point after going to Cheltenham every year since the year after foot and mouth.
I think I've been doing antepost now for about 10 years or so, but consistently at this sort of level for the last 8 I reckon.

So I imagine at some point I found this site, then realised it was full of wankers and idiots showing off - But, with really useful information and some nice and funny people sprinkled within.
So I set about trying to weed some of the wankers out, so I could be the biggest wanker of them all.

Hardly any wankers these days compared to when I first joined that's for sure. (notice I've not mentioned idiots)
There were cocks and bollocks everywhere in the first few years.

A lot more genteel these days.
Bit more boring, but boring is good sometimes.

Like Politics, I fucking wish that was boring these days and not like fucking WWF.

                          • HEADS UP.

Just noticed PP NRNB market for the Coral cup is 3 places only - sneaky cunts.
Maybe be extra careful if they're up to this sort of shit.
Hopefully an error otherwise its pretty naughty stuff.

Looks like it's on all handicaps.

They won’t be up to anything, it’ll be an error.
16+ runners in a handicap pays 4 places in rules of racing, they can offer more places but not less…

Not antepost and NRNB it's not.

There are still 8 or more left in some races and they're all offering 2 places only.

They are just being dirty bastards, and also they may be factoring the lack of full fields come the day.

The big advantage we have this year if the Ultima just as an example ends up with just 14 or 15 is some of them have been offering us 5 places.
