Anyone here know the correct procedures when a horse is disqualified ie sixmilebridge today. Potters charm has been awarded the race but bookies don't seem to be paying out on the new result. Only asking because I was waiting on him for a bet as we're a lot of others I would imagine.

My understanding is they settle by 'first past the post' rule

So really, a justice refund/payout is all you can hope for

I don’t think it’s much use until decs CAT.

You can track decs but not sure on entry stage, think you need a log in, might be wrong with that though.

I had 200 on a greyhound called Farloe Victory to win the Greyhound Derby ante post at 33-1. She finished second to a dog who was disqualified….and this wasn’t a misdemeanour type situation I don’t think, if I remember correctly it was blatant and I believe ( though someone may know better) the trainer got banned for life. She is there on the record books forever now and I didn’t get a penny. It’s a tough pill to swallow but you get over it (coz obviously this post evidences I am clearly over it)

For betting purposes the 'weighed in' announcement is all that's needed for bookies to pay out and no changes can be made thereafter....

2 days 10am 5 days 12pm for entries of all meetings as far as I know

It's confirmation of entries at 6 days and closes at 12.00. Supplementary entries also close at 12.00.
