Golden Ace taking on Burdett Road in Kingwell over 2m on Saturday so no way they'll go County if she wins that.
Only race for her I would have thought?
I suppose she could try for a bit of prize money in the CH.
Her form this season ain’t much, but she’s probably better at 2m.

If she beats Burdett Road in the Kingwell then she'll deserve a crack at the CH as that one ran well in the Xmas Hurdle behind CH and Lossiemouth. She'd get walloped with weight as well which would put her too high for any of the Handicaps. She'll need to step up on what she's done so far but she only had her very first hurdle race in January last season and then rattled off 4 wins so she may be a Mare that comes to herself in the Spring. She's in very good form at home by all accounts.

Step up a lot as she’s rated 144, which is a long way off.
If she’s considered to have too much weight than I can see the possibility of the CH for some cash for the owners as it’s going to be a small field I suspect.
If a couple of the fancied runners don’t make it she then has a place chance I guess.
Actually, thinking about it…..If the front two or at maybe one of them don’t run in the Mares, she’s could be better off there. I know she probably would prefer it to be shorter, but it’s her level and might be more her race?

An interesting little race as well Saturday which will be a small test of the CH/Lossiemouth form as well with Burdett running. BR on 150 so beat him and she be bumped up.

Yes interesting cos BR should still be on the improve.
Actually put him in some e/w accas this week.
My understanding was that he'd have one race to try and qualify and he failed so he wouldn't have been going to the Fez anyway regardless of injury or not.

Why do we think she'll get walloped with weight for winning at the weekend? If she beats Burdett Road and Brentford Hope by a couple of lengths then surely everyone stays on the same rating. Obviously, if she hacked up, then she would get walloped absolutely.

Yep. Bookmakers always a bit slow responding to any news regarding the Hunters so Cash Out still available and Oddschecker no sign of a problem with Cons Roc. I've Cashed Out. Was a high risk before this latest news but had good prices so reluctant to give up on him.
Kitzbuhel getting his 5th run tomorrow, Sir G in same race. I might be mad, but hes becoming well handicapped for the Coral. I know hes 10 but Wicklow Brave ran a stormer at the same age off a much higher mark so it must be on Willies mind

Yeah, I'm very much hoping this is the case. Made a case for him on my diary a few weeks back and also brought it up yesterday when darlojim mentioned about Kitz being declared in the 'Under The Radar' thread.
Would be some feat getting Sir Gerhard back to anywhere near his best, but I'm hopeful.
Just out of curiosity, which bookies are the best in people's experience for leaving up the antepost markets during racing, and crucially, not immediately restricting you if you take advantage of it?
I know most leave them up occasionally, and the big name bookies dont restrict you that easily for that sort of stuff. But of the smaller bookmakers, any that do it consistently and then don't restrict?
Betway do it a fair bit, and I took advantage a fair few times before having my stake restricted on antepost markets, live score bet immediately restricted me on all markets the first time I did it , unibet do it occasionally and I'm yet to be restricted.
