Going to give the race a complete miss until decs as it looks really messy. Shame as we all did very well from the NHC as it was.

The race used to be dominated by the English. Think that will happen again under its new format.

When having a look at some of the markets I noticed the horse that won at Down Royal over Xmas, Big Interest, isn't listed for the Hunter Chase by the bookies. Don't really follow or know too much about that sphere but is there a reason why he's not, didn't know if it's an age thing etc with him being young?

But you do have to have ran and won/placed in Hunters and points a certain number of times.
More likely the trainer thinks he's too young. He just loves waiting for next year that never comes.
