Be interesting to see if the Mulryans look elsewhere now though

The Ultima: Early days as yet and not many bookies have horses listed for this race and what are listed are not attractively priced. One that is catching my eye is Tightenyourbelts trained by Emma Lavelle. He is bred to be a good staying chaser out of the same family as Macgoldrick (sire is Mahler). He looked to be going places as a novice until running 4th to Il Est Francais in the Kauto Star. He seemed to lose confidence and reverted to hurdling until returning to fences this season at Exeter winning well. He then turned up at Lingfield in December and beat Neon Moon 13l rcg 3lb off 132 (Rpr 143). He jumps accurately and likes to front run. He reached 140 before the Kauto Star and even with a hit from the hcpper should not be much higher than 140. I have no clue as to whether this race is his target but at 22/1 (with enhancement) nrnb (WH) he is possibly one to consider.
