I do in a limited way. I use it to double check what my eyes tell me. I’ve been impressed by a winner before and then seen the race was run to suit something with a turn of foot and downgraded it afterwards.

I also rely on those guys to pick the bones out of the really one sided stuff. Like Salvator Mundi’s race. The eye told me nothing there as they were all non triers in behind. Simon Roland’s though picked up that it was run very quickly.

    • I think looking at the declarations for Fridays X country handicap, the festival race is not going to suffer much at all.
      Looks a cracker.

yeah, I think it helped that the bechers was called off. novice hurdle a bit light on numbers but the card overall is not bad, with the x country a highlight.
Trying to work out which one of Gordons is going to be trying it's best.
Backed Goffer at 66-1 so far.

Yep, can see myself having a proper go at Stumptown.
Galvin kept away again, no question for me Elliott looking after his mark…..

Problem with the race is the French horse looks a certainty.
And then it's guessing who's likely to be trying completely and who's looking at the festival ?

I think Latenightpass and Arizona Cardinal are likely trying, and the French horse, but the rest it's really hard to say, although I expect one or two of Gordon's are in it to win it.
Don't get me wrong, most will likely be wanting to win it's just who's really wanting it, as opposed to falling in.

The French horse (Izini D’airy) is running in an earlier race complete outsider!

I was referring to Iceo Madrik.

                    • Ricci on with Matt and Paddy this evening.

Mentions an unnamed 4 year old brother to Gaelic Warrior who’ll likely run in a bumper in the spring.

Also gives a mention to Riskabahia and Saint Lucie who we’ve not seen yet but will be out soon.

He is indeed mate, they’ll say he didn’t see mister Coffey but I’d be far more inclined to think it’s about his mark come March!
