Shambles! This race has been the target for at least 6 months, with the supposed “10lbs” she had in hand.

She’s not for me in the mares, she has to be winning that to be even talked about in the mares and couldn’t. In my opinion of course. People will point to Aintree beating of Golden Ace but she’s improved Dysart Enos at present doesn’t look to have.

I didnt see the full race, but I'd say it's very possible that she might have 10lb in hand, but burdett Road might have 15lb or more, and I heard she was also fairly keen on her first run in a while which wouldn't have helped.

I would also just point out that iberico lord went up 17lb between this race last year and cheltenham. And luccia ran a similar race last year in third before placing in the champion hurdle, in which time she herself went up 13lb. So i wouldnt rule out dysart finding that sort of improvement over her next few runs, my worry would be whether she actually wants any further than 2m looking at how she races.

Yeah i thought Dysart Enos ran well for her first run in 10months and still looks well handicapped, she was just beaten by a race fit one that looks to have more in hand.

I think you’re right about her not wanting more than 2m, which puts her in no man’s land! This was the proper target this season imo, fergal would have been praying for a win to plan ahead post race. Not winning where does she go from here? She’s not winning graded races over 2m imo. So handicaps potentially until her mark is too high.

I reckon CC's had a setback as well. Plan was to run as long as ground was going to be suitable which it is. Just waiting on news now.
