The chemistry on that show is all off. Barry is, well, Barry. Tony always looks mardy for whatever reason. Won’t be a loss and Tony will be a better fit on Racehour I’d say.

As entertainment great, but as a source of picking Cheltenham winners, I dont think so, even if they do move the markets!

Yeah the show isn't brilliant but i like Keenan. Vanessa is a decent host also. Just for clarity, when i say shit show i meant Barry and AP, dunno why i didn't say his name. I wasn't just nailing the programme those two's opinions are completely irrelevant from now on. They showed their contempt for the casual punter in the video on twitter that they were begging to be taken down. I used to listen to the 'shrewds' and make some of their bets but i don't think i have taken one on board for about 3 years. I reckon i had more winners last year than all of them put together. On day 1 the only race i didn't get the winner was the Boodles, that's more than DJ and JD put together for the festival but mine isn't a point and shoot 1 horse 1 race style to be fair to them

          • DJ picked some decent winners just a shame some ran in different races.
To be honest I just enjoy the craic the show brings and although Jonny did offer some short priced midweek winners, a win is a win.

These lads must be cracked out of their heads to be picking handicaps in Aug/Sept/Oct.
The thought of finding the Kim Muir winner right now just makes me laugh....

              • That is a woeful set of tipping. They'd do well to just copy a few of the guys on here but would likely be dropped by the bookies sponsoring them for making too much profit !

I left it until the day and still only got the 4th place at a crap price e/w Where It All Began. I did 5 horses in every handicap last season apart from the Martin Pipe. I have NEVER had the winner of the Kim Muir in about 20 years of betting (About 8 seriously mulling through form etc) It's the only race that has evaded me.

I used Saxon Warrior trends for the Plate last year. Backed 5 horses all e/w and they finished..............................1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and Saint Felicien was brought down. I was already quids in by that point so i just laughed I swear that is the truth so Saxon you need to find me the Kim Muir winner in 2025

Shall we wait until at least 5-Day Entries?

To be fair, I do like to sift the Trends Analysis at 5-Day Entries for all those Handicaps.

Top of each Handicap Race Thread, Post 1, for those that want a quick sense check, after Handicap Weights (and beyond) as some trends are linked to Weights .

It's exactly how i did it. OR's combined with weights and historical results. Threw all form out of the window. It will be getting done again this time around

5 days makes plenty of sense, 5 months makes none....

To be fair I think the timings for The Jumps Show tips were more January, February March.
