Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • I've always hoped at some point someone with the clout to do so would basically say enough is enough and the bookies can't keep playing by their own rules and they should actually be a bookmaker and take bets, a naive and simplistic view i know, when people with the authority to do anything are probably doing well out of said bookies so will be happy to continue as it is !

You'd think that a journalist would love to expose that "safer gambling" is nonsense if the bookies literally want no winning punters - but sadly both "liberal" and "social conservative" news outlets are dominated by privately educated writers who only see gambling as a "feckless poor" extreme gambling issue (from bitter experience - I once worked on a safer gambling campaign that did a lot of good but journalists would only ever amplify extreme voices criticising it for not advocating banning gambling)

Could be a right 'scoop' for some young journalist !

I had issues getting money out, but only them wanting lots of stuff like card photos etc before paying

However there is a LOT of worrying stuff online about not paying on winners for all sorts of reasons

Sadly, Lydia didn’t dig very far

Not sure if I will use again yet - maybe at a low level, but they def worry me still

BetUK offer same odds & had no issues …,tho they don’t have the bug promo offers

              • ….for the Aintree weather watchers like Irish Rugby it’s not the warmest morning but it’s been sunny, bright and breezy since I got up at around 6am.

                      • One bet tomorrow in the 16:30 at Fairyhouse

                        Kinturk Kalanisi e/w 8/1

Form is solid, trip & going should be ideal, he’s been coming along nicely all season & looks to have a few pound in hand here.

                        Other fancies for the weekend…

Cuta Des As e/w 16/1, Spillanes Tower 5/2 & Any Second Now/Street Value my two against the field in the Grand National.

….ha, ha, one lap would be enough these days, certainly taking a ‘long stud’.

Clear, bright and sunny this morning but yesterday started like this.

                            • And BBC news there are telling us to expect a fairly UK wide wet week ahead, the only doubt being will it impact much on the general Liverpool area?

….very bright so far, skies are clear & blue, the forecast suggests no rain today. It’ll take a bit to dry things out but the next few days look ok. I’ll keep you posted.
