Well that’s a wrap, really enjoyed some of that racing the past week. Besides the dilution and some big names missing it certainly threw up some thrillers both in the graded and handicaps. Some new stars found.

Galopin Des Champs today sealed the deal.

Thanks to all of you on here for the year long build up om FJ. Plenty of big winners found along the way that made it a very profitable week and worth all the contributions

For those who are interested, by my reckoning Willie won about 1580k prize-money this week. It seems that Dan Skelton moved above Paul Nicholls but, if I remember, I'll check out the overall standings over the weekend.

A lack of close finishes this year. Saw 2/3 but we normally get more.

Despite people going on about extreme ground, it really wasn't, the market found most winners, very few high priced winners, even in the handicaps.

Hope the authorities start to look at the problems though and don't just sit on the fence. The Kevin Blake proposals, all very sensible.

That was my 39th Festival.

It is still though, four days that are unrivalled.

I put 3 points on Mullins at 10/1 after you first highlighted.

Google seems very laboured with any answers whenever I look but I would be very interested in any updates.

Surely he has the fire power to have a shot at the Melling, the Bowl, Liverpool and Aintree Hurdle aswell as having the usual lottery of the national.

I’ll just say in here instead of individually in the diaries (maybe a bit cheeky), well done to everyone who came out up, some great results it seems! And to those that didn’t, it happens, let the dust settle, pick yourself up and go again, we’ve all been there. I’ve found my more selective approach which combined with me having to use a smaller budget much more enjoyable. Not for everyone but would be the best advice that I’ve used myself

They are refusing to pay me any winnings at all, i've been waiting 15hours for £1600 and now after queuing for 2hrs they've decided to shut my account without honouring any bets. I've taken the approach of withdrawing a few hundred pounds at a time...which is ridiculous that you even need to think about it...but seeing others experience I wanted to try and keep under the radar. had 4 lots of transactions approved without referral but not looking to use them in future.

Yes. The horror stories mean I've written to them asking them to close my account and remove all of my data from their files. I actually ended up £60 down with them (I only used them for the double odds boosts and when they were slow reducing the price of Jeraboam Machin and Embassy Gardens) but they've still restricted me to bets in the pennies.
