I would make sure every ticket returns under that threshold otherwise its a ballache while they slowly blow the dust off their phone book, find the number and act like no ones ever had a winner before
Would also consider if you want cash or paid to a card. Walking up with a ticket for several thousand and wanting cash is going to cause several issues, especially as most firms don't account for their Self Service Machines. Getting it paid back to a card is generally easier.

          • Can someone explain to me Wtf happened 4:20 Newcatle, I was on glory heights, which looked nailed on to win. Approaching the end they wave the riders down??? So bizarre, never seen that happen before.

EDIT- some online saying was a horse obstructing, must have came down from previous circuit, if so feel bad, but luck definitely not in!

With a voucher from a machine I doubt they'd pay back to a card if its a high amount, anti money laundering policy wouldn't allow it.

Someone could put 2000 in the machine in cash print the ticket then have it put on a bank card? Highly unlikely

Potentially, but not hard to check the back office and see it was a collection of bets.

Not had a problem having it back to card the last two years

Collected £1000+ from my hills bets both times

It's the wild west with the sbt machines, no one checks anything. I always think when using them this would be a great place for some illegal activities. If you're that way inclined. Which I'm not obviously.

I thought that until yesterday. My mate went to use the machines in my local hills and the lass working there told him he can no longer use them and is restricted to max bet of 25 quid. It turns out the cameras in the shop picked him up using the terminals when they identified suspicious betting patterns. They'd sent images to the staff and have put the block on him.

He's isn't the kind of guy that bets in hundreds and the average bet size would probably be fifty quid or so.

                        • Just watched Upping the Ante, Dineen & DJ had me in stitches. Can we have a lucky 15 Johnny? Where? Then he put a flat horse in. Good laugh if you have not seen it.

                                declarations are available though.
