Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

      • Having survived 'the beast from the east', covid threatening to cancel the festival and a guy sitting on a dead horse.... just need a moment to remind myself that two high profile injured horses on the same day is tame compared to what we've dealt with in recent years

I am absolutely wounded right now though.

        • This is the longest week of the year. My head is spinning trying to keep up with knock on effect of all these injuries and with Mullins bingo going on in the background. Think I'll just go offline for a week and see what I'm left with after

          • First 3 non-handicaps all given a fairly major shakeup in about 6 hours, wow

Forgot about the bloody beast from the east too...

            • Given the sporting parallels with 2020 already this year, a repeat of the same Superbowl teams and winning side, a Hendo superstar will he wont he run saga which ended in the latter option, Leeds United getting promoted to the Premier League, they just will.. to name a few.
I'd expect Gordon Elliot to have a very good festival. More winners than Mullins. But given we had a Lisnagar Oscar win that year, the Fortune is a cert... Definitely worth considering any winners from that year running again, winning this year...Sire Du Berlais, Saint Roi, Envoi Allen and Shishkin most likely.
There's more to this stuff than mere coincidence i'm certain so Nicky will get his win in the Supreme and Henry takes the Arkle, Chianti Classico takes the Ultima as Kim Bailey had a day 1 winner that year.
So Salvador Ziggy with the Nh Chase, its just written.. like it's already been run. Or maybe i'm just a conspiracy theorist or worse a loony. Its all there to see if you dig..forget cold hard form. Good luck to all.

                • The handicaps are looking like the main events at this year’s festival, sad state of affairs, hoping the BHA and Cheltenham wake up

With a pretty mediocre ante post portfolio this season troubled by injuries from the get go. I'm half tempted to say fuck it and follow you in lol.

Your forgetting that time there was some sort of horse flu or something like that and it was also in jeopardy over that

                            • Weirdly wasn't that bothered about CH (from a purely punting POV) as i'd already got him wrong earlier in the year thinking he'd be going chasing Marine is a decent sized kick in the balls however. I suppose if there's a positive to find amongst it it was the run at DRF which left you with little choice but to start considering alternatives.

Foot and Mouth, last time I had an account with them, as they would not give AP money back on AP at time, before they rethought, I’ve had a 20
                                year grudge against them!
