          • There was good talk of racing books to read on CH thread but I don’t want to go off on a tangent there, seams here most appropriate

any good NH specific books you lot recommend?

              AP McCoy wrote a book.
I think I read it, and don't remember it ..... so not that one?

Thanks. And the Clerk mentioned tomorrow as a really wet day. Do let us know if that's the case too. Cheers.

Tomorrow morning doesn't look great but seems to be Friday morning when the heavy stuff comes in.

I am about 15 miles away from the course, so can't guarantee it will be 100% accurate, but I'll happily keep people posted.

                    • I'd prefer a fair bit of rain before rather than artificial watering any day.

The Henry Cecil biography is an emotional and engaging book.

Also, 'How's Your Dad?' by Mick Shannon Jnr and 'Not Enough Time' by Hen Knight are also decent reads.

The best of Alistair Down is decent as are the George Baker and Kieren Fallon Autobiographies.

                          • Jamie Reid books are excellent (fact and fiction) as is Mr Darley’s Arabian by Chris mc Grath. Ruby, Carberry, Swan, Bradley’s biogs are all fun. Twelve Grand by Jonathan Rendall gambling wise is a great read
