        • Desperate viewing that novice chase at Aintree. Pembroke was absolutely knackered coming to the last. Others pulled up. The Becher is gonna be some stamina test.

          • I’m lost at the moment, and don’t know where to go with most if not all races. Just seem to come to an impasse. Looking for some inspiration, perhaps over Xmas and new year

Aye, same. Had my early fancies backed at the start of the season. Some have turned out alright and plenty shite. But then I've still not seen much else I've wanted to add for the past month or so. Reckon I can only have added like 3 or 4 bets in that time. And now I look at over half the markets and still don't have a clue

Fancy this season's unusually slow but I've not checked through, so maybe it's just a pattern I forget every year.

              • it is a pattern Benjy , happens every year , doesn't get any easier though , i'm in exactly the same situation as you with a few bingers and a few ok punts , but with so many coming out recently its hard to absorb it all , lots of these good looking winners are beating trees and won't feature at the Festival , tipsters, tipping up everything on twitter and podcasts

once we get to Christmas it will start to sort itself out , and you will find yourself in a better position than you think at the moment ,

                • I put a horse in my tracker a while back as I watched it on the all weather and thought it looked eye catching. I saw it was entered today and innocently used it as a roll up horse to try and plug some gaps for the festival. Since I placed my bets the horse has received steady and relentless support across the board with no signs of it slowing down. The same happened to me the other day with a different horse and now it’s happening again. My point is not that I am anything close to being a savvy punter, it’s that I don’t even know now if I want todays horse to win any more.

I hope there are representatives of firms lurking out there reading this. If there are you are ruining mine and so many other peoples passion, please start being bookmakers again and grow a pair and tell your accountants and shareholders to do one. Or if you aren’t prepared to do that be transparent and admit to everyone that you are just really bad losers.

if anybody wants to know the name of the two horses you can pm me

What does it say about racing when the biggest personality in racing is voted out first for being boring!

That racing fans don't watch it?

Nah dunno was surprised about that. Surely he would have been more popular than some of the others in it! Obviously not, maybe Racing as a sport really is a minority these days!
