The tweet and photo is from the last person to train the horse, saying that the horse is off to Japan for breeding, and the post was at the end of September just before the start of the jumps season. Theres not really much more confirmation you can get. We may as well take energumene out of the out for the season thread because Mullins only said "he's probably out for the season" and not 100% out.

Thanks for the info, I've amended comments in the Out of Festival thread to state the permanent move to Japan is TBC given the horse is currently registered as in training with Paul Nolan...

Im pretty sure there was video of willmount working with three milers a month or two ago which got everyone talking that he was gonna be a Bartlett type, and now people are saying he should run in the supreme, so I'm not sure if there's much importance to who they work with.

Just google the name of the horse with the word horse after the name. This will give you a racing post option. Click on that and it will bring you to a summary page for the stallion. Then to see all its offspring click on stud record and it will in this occasion default to jumps offspring. There us also a filter that gives you the option to select flat offspring if he has any.

Also if you want go deeper into the pedigree just click on the sire it dam and it gives you the same options including race record etc

Can someone educate me on Under Control staying the mares trip and being a serious player for it? In light of Iberico Lord winning the greatwood her rating of 136 could be lenient for the Gerry Fielden (which I believe is her target) if she wins that I’ve read she could be a champion hurdle possible outsider (66/1) but with the trainer already having constitution, instead of following in the epatante exact route could she step up in distance and is 25/1 a price worth nabbing?

I’ve back Under Control for Mares, based on Iberico Lord form

She’s only 4, so a lot of growing to do still, she will have to but with good trainer

will have to see if she finishes her races stronger

I have backed Under Control too for the Mares Hdl , based on a case put up on The cheltenham Exchange - ( i think ) .
Pretty sure since then , i have seen or read Nicky H saying hopefully all roads lead to Cheltenham - Mares Hdl. .

Yeah would be a massive statement for me if she went there - as you know I was mad keen on Luccia for it (still think she'd go close given the flatter track after her performance in the Greatwood), but the fact any other mare might go for it would be a big eye catcher for me with respect to how he sees them in his pecking order

Edit: cos that's a niche reference that probably lands more antagonistically than it appears - it's an Ellis Genge tweet from when he was tagged in a video getting tackled.

For context - I used to post on an internet music forum back in the day. One day, the DMs became open in a coding mishap and a guy started just posting of all them. Put a lot of people in uncomfortable positions but he argued we shouldn't have expected them to be private, he had every right to share them, censorship to not.

I'm not accusing Q of this, but that guy turned out to be quite the wrong un - and so for me, I find doing that questionable. The grief is between Sax and Q, I make no judgements on the relative merits of their disagreements. I personally just find that action beyond the pale. Would make me reconsider using the messaging function if someone's just gonna drop the contents on the forum
