I think that's reading a little too much in to it myself

Wouldn't make a jot of difference IMO

It doesn't mean he's not one of his better ones, of course he might not be one of his better ones, but not having Nico on for a racecourse gallop is just moot. Like a cows opinion. It's Moo.

Isn't this one of those situations where you can see it both ways (Whatever fits your narrative) as Henderson clearly thinks Jeriko is good to be working with a 154 rated chaser and g1 placed hurdler (On only his 2nd start) at 2m...

I'd be thinking more that dusart is slow and if jeriko was a supreme horse he wouldn't be working with him

but we don't know how fit these horses are

Im pretty sure there was video of willmount working with three milers a month or two ago which got everyone talking that he was gonna be a Bartlett type, and now people are saying he should run in the supreme, so I'm not sure if there's much importance to who they work with.

Thanks to Liverpoolchamp for the notification Thyme Hill suffered a fatal injury on the gallops this morning.
I'm not sure whether he was trained poorly or the horse just wasn't quite top table but I always felt he didn't fulfill his potential, as both a hurdler and a chaser.
May be unkind to say that, but always felt he should have a bunch of G1 wins to his name...

Racing TV tweet says Nico in yellow was on JDR. A bit on conflicting reports then.

The Auteuil run was a real real headscratcher

First run of the season on horrible ground, different hurdles, race fit rivals

Not sure he ever really travelled through his races the same after that

and I know he won the kauto star but he never looked a natural chaser and the staying hurdle division was piss poor last season

The horse was meant to be going to stud at the end of last season but the owner fell out with Mullins in May and was moved from his yard to another trainer who wasn't named at the time to continue racing, I'm assuming the new trainer was Paul Nolan.

The tweet from Tony Mullins is from September where there is a photo of him smiling beside princess Zoe and saying she's off to Japan to be a broodmare, so I'm guessing the owner had a change of heart and decided to stick with the plan to retire her and him and Mullins subsequently got back on good terms.
