Betfair Chase favoured for Bravemansgame reintroduction
“It is highly likely he will start this season in the Betfair Chase at Haydock which has been a brilliant race for me with horses like Kauto Star and Silviniaco Conti and the timing is ideal ahead of the King George VI Chase at Kempton,” said Nicholls.
“He is ticking over and could be ready for the Charlie Hall at Wetherby if the ground was suitable but we are leaning towards Haydock. It is an extremely valuable pot and Bravemansgame has won at the track.
“The ground at Wetherby was only just ok for him last year and we don’t want to be taking any chances. To keep our options open, we will probably give him an entry, too, in the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury. It would be a tough ask for him off a mark of 172 but Denman won it off 174.”

I'm quite curious about two horses I'm pretty sure no one will be talking about based on last seasons performances:- Lisnagar Fortune
- Quais De Paris
Lisnagar Fortune flopped, Quais De Paris won in workman like fashion and then ran a stinker in the grade 1 at the Dublin Racing Festival.
Has anyone heard anything about either horse?
A part of me things the latter will make a lovely chaser over the middle distance.Comment

Quais De Paris was a bit of a talking horse last season but after seeing his debut, he looked like a big whopper that would be better for fences. He didn't get a mention in OJA so not sure on his well being. Easy for horses to get forgotten in the Mullins yard given his depth of talent.Originally posted by JamieSensible View Post
Lisnagar Fortune is still a maiden over hurdles so they could continue down that road but his two performances so far have left a lot to be desired and you'd have to assume he'd be miles down the Mullins pecking order for either novice discipline.Comment
