    Checked out their ownership and found this, which is encouraging:

    In the US, BetMGM is a 50-50 joint venture owned by MGM Resorts and Entain. However, Entain is not involved in the BetMGM UK launch.

    This means that BetMGM UK will be directly competing with Entain’s UK brands. Entain owns some of the UK’s leading gaming brands, including Ladbrokes, Gala and Coral, as well as leading European names such as Bwin and Eurobet.
    It's a leovegas site here in the uk

        Yeah looks like we aren't getting any generous prices this year, unless people got on first shows

        • Nice to see Indo win again

          Conflated and delta work both needed the run as usual

          I'd imagine that was just a glorified racecourse gallop for Conflated to get him right to run at down royal in a few weeks time in what will be a very winnable grade 1

          • Henry talking National. The run is possibly in the low 150s but the second was 48 lengths behind Easy Game the last time.

                The whole thing is a farce fro me, plenty of hot air and noise way too late.
                The RP have been a joke with this, relentlessly pushing affordability as the evil that will kill the sport when the real reason thousands of punters have moved away or stopped betting on racing is because bookmakers have been allowed to apply brutal restrictions for years unchallenged, and those that are left are now forced to the black market operators.

                Not once in the history of the newspaper has the Racing Post offered any criticism on bookmaker restriction.

                I love a conspiracy theory and I'm convinced bookmakers are complicit with affordability plans as it weeds out duplicate accounts and allows them to literally operate at zero risk because every winning punter has been restricted.
                What no-one has grasped is how forcing punters underground will only increase problem gambling and instead of dealing with legitimate organisations when you owe money you are dealing with people who operate to a different set of rules...

                • ….snippets from Henderson stable tour;

                  C Hill stays over hurdles;
                  Jeriko du Reponet - ‘we could go straight over hurdles with him’.
                  Jonbon - ‘Sandown told us to stay at 2m for now’.
                  Sir Gino - ‘still qualified to run in juvenile hurdles and we hope he can progress and be a high-class juvenile.’
                  Walking on Air - ‘it’s time to go chasing with him’.

                  (Link to stable tour in stable tour thread).

                    The racing channels are even worse…they are positively sycophantic towards the layers and treat them like they are best friends ….presumably in order for them to keep their own accounts intact …the only one I recall addressing it was nick luck…..love him or hate him we miss Big mac ….he would have gone after this relentlessly.

                    • Racing Post just deleted a tweet saying Grand National field to be reduced to 34 runners. If correct, then it may have a knock on effect for how horses are campaigned with the qualifying mark likely to be higher now.
