    • I've been looking for Good Land comments, is there anything on whether he steps up to 3m or not?

Turners is only 2m3, not sure I think that's far enough for him.

Drinmore and 2.5m route as of August

The six-year-old was last seen running out a brilliant winner of the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March

barry has always regarded good land as a quick horse, I’m sure I remember a quote saying he would have been a supreme horse if not for marine nationale

          • Haven’t seen this anywhere, but just watched the latest LTR video and Josh explained that Ferny Hollow had a setback at the start of the summer. Apparently, CPS are hoping he might be back this season but sounded very doubtful he’d return to the top of the game.

I'm not sure if I'm reading into it too much but in the same interview he is asked about fact to file and he stutters for a second before saying he's going to be going further but it sounded like he was going to say there's a good chance he goes over fences but not sure if it's confirmation bias from what I've read on here

Sounded like he was going to say he'll be going over fences yeah but stopped himself.

Interesting. My first thought was he was going to say over much further. Or similar.

Edit: Nah you’re bang on. The context and build up he gave it re age etc that’s exactly what he was going to say.

Exactly my first reaction, I think you’re spot on

                      • Do you think if he goes over fences will he go mid trip or 3m?

I was thinking if hurdling it’s 3m Albert B, as WPM has few clear 2m/2m5 NovHs

                        or

if it’s over fences then maybe 2.5 turners could be the plan for F2F. Less attritional season for the switch from bumpers to chasing compared to 3m. Its a weak looking division at the minute, JPs other player Corbetts Cross looks preferably BANC bound. FV is Arkle bound and IEP is Champ H. Then potentially F2F plan could be
                        Turners 23 > Gold Cup 24..

Supreme then?? It's 47 yards further than his Bumper win......

                          • Mullins doesn't look to have a really obvious one for the BANC so perhaps he'll go the Florida Pearl route with FTF ??

Nick rockett as a few have put up here, I personally think Gaelic warrior still ends up in the brown advisory also and wins.

Over hurdles I’m not sure I’d have backed him in the Ballymore but certainly would be interested in the intermediate trip over fences where jumping becomes a bigger factor than turn of foot.
