I've ordered a copy so presume it will be dispatched shortly after publication. What are the updates like in terms of value? I did consider getting the bundle at ?47 but thought I'll get some opinion first then consider that next year. Will get the Cheltenham update as that makes sense, but thought Saxon's race diaries might be more useful than the other updates

Partly used as an update of his Top 40 from the original book.
Partly focused on a time period/Festival - Christmas etc, news and tips for that particular period
Also throws in new news, horses expected to go well next time out, or for a specific race in a week or twos time , maybe an antepost pick.
He has his very good contacts and the news is probably focused on those, as he has knowledge of race plans
Always a good read.
Not sure hat they cost individually, is it around the cost of a pint at the Cheltenham Festival (?7 or ?8)
If the total cost includes Cheltenham, that could be useful - or you could just buy Cheltenham separately next March.
Wouldnt put anyone off.
I think its not much difference if you buy the book, and the the individual updates if and when you need/want them.
So Ive never paid for the whole lot up front, nor taken them all.
Wouldnt miss the book though.
Also like to know his Cheltenham news, adds to the fun of the start to the Festival week.

Without Ryanair I'd probably never have had horses in Ireland. They made it cheaper and quicker for me to get to Leopardstown and Fairyhouse than Sandown and Ascot.
Most of Ryanair's issues come from the @rseholes who try to buck the system by getting all the extras for the cost of the basic flight.

And what does the second sentence even mean ?
If it wasn't for Gary Glitter I wouldn't have bought my first guitar.
Doesn't stop him being a C**t though !

Went to watch Bari last season, heard 'leader of the gang' come on over the stadium PA about 30mins before kick off, felt like the only person out of about 30,000 letting out a dark 'fcuking hell...' type chuckle. Left the concourse to see what was going on whilst it was still proudly playing and they were parading about 10 of their kids teams around the running track Of all the millions of songs...
