We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

To win any race works in multiples for me but not the place market

    • It can be temperamental with different horses in the same market as well as different markets. I remember trying desperately to get Vauban (triumph) 4/1 to place and Gerri colombe (Bartlett) 6/1 to place in roll ups/multiples and it just wasn't having it a few years back. Other horses in the same races were fine so that was quite annoying and the situation really didn't rectify itself so if you can't do it now I wouldn't hold out too much hope of doing it in the future unfortunately

They spend hundreds of thousands on their stupid adverts letting us know how great they are and how caring whilst treating us like idiots.

              one to watch
Maybe Irish Point will be kept away from Cheltenham with Gordon saying there’s plenty of 2.5 mile races for him and Teahupoo is definitely targeting the Stayers

Early risers getting some! I'm guessing with it being a Saturday when the news broke and last night posted on here most didn't see it, as surprised how long it lasted! I hope plenty on here took advantage.

Thanks for posting, that's another nail in the coffin for ante post betting.

Like many do I imagine, each year I have a go at a few speculative high paying combos and I've now put a note on my file that they won't be with PP or betfair. Daft really as they won't now collect my annual few points that go adrift!

                    • Does anybody else have all bets involving Vauban for MC greyed out for cash out with 365 ? I notice he's gone back out to 6/1 with them,

My bets with him have always been greyed out on 365. Didn’t know he’s been pushed out though

                        • Re: BF/PP shithousery, does anyone know what happens to bets placed under previous t&c's? Surely they have to pay out to what the stated figures were at the time bets were placed? Otherwise it leaves the door open to all manner of nonsense. It's an unlikely problem to encounter granted, but it'd be useful to know.

Just got a response from PP regarding this - "the bet would be paid out in line with the maximum payout limit at the time of settlement, not of bet placement".

I think that is wrong and, if that’s their position, they would be forced to retract.
it might take legal action but I can t see how it’s acceptable to amend the terms of a contract after the contract is agreed without the consent of both parties, in contract law what they’re suggesting would be unlawful…

Yeah just got something similar too when asked on social media. Outrageous. In theory they could take a seasons worth of antepost bets on Cheltenham then significantly reduce the t&c's on the eve of declarations or whenever beforehand, to whatever their traders feel like. And this presumably is somehow legal.
