At well over 17hh, he must be the biggest horse in the yard. As green as grass on both his runs, he surprised me when making a winning debut at Exeter in December, and he surprised me again, as the betting suggested, when following up at Sandown, galloping on powerfully up the hill to pull well clear of our shorter-priced runner. Although still backward, he'd clearly learnt a lot from his debut as he won with real authority there. Clearly a very smart prospect for novice hurdles.

That's great thank you. Piqued my interest even more with the suggestion he's still backward (I didn't pick that up on his second run which looked very assured). Suggests there's more to come which is great.

BMG will follow the same path as last season, they might ride him differently in the Gold Cup, but admits GDC will be very difficult to beat .

Frodon will go Badger Beers and Portman Cup and then be retired.

Pic D'Orhy probably the same route as last year, but will get a King George entry.

Greaneteen Haldon/Schloer and then probably up up in trip.

Stage Star probably starts in the Paddy Power with Monmiral.

Knappers Hill, Hermes, Stay Away Fay, Tahmuras, Golden Son, Monmiral, Outlaw Peter probably the main novice chasers. Hermes not the biggest, but 'very athletic'.

Complete Unknown will go for the Ladbroke - likes him a lot, but needs it soft.

He's also got Ginnys Desting (Lacey), Mofasa (Scudamore) and Washington (Murphy) who go novice chasing.

Has around 50 for novice hurdling. Inthewaterside is the biggest horse in the yard and speaks highly in particular of him, Captain Teague, Fire Flyer, Farnoge, Wrappedupinmay, Tarras Wood and Larchmont Lass.

All the big money P2P recruits likely to be in bumpers for this season (Qubecois, Histrionic, Welcom to Cartres, Captain Bellamy, Joyau Allen). He's also got Farland who went off fav for the Land Rover bumper at Punchestown. Owned by Alfie and Neil Smith, who must have dropped ?1m+ over the summer.

Light on juveniles - Midnight Lion, Liari and Not Alone.

Were there any further details on Captain Bellamy? I thought they may skip bumpers as that wouldn't be his game. Still young so I guess the experience will stand him in good stead later,

A very highly regarded recruit from the Irish point-to-point field, who could not have been more impressive when winning a maiden at Dromahane in April on his only srtart. The dam is a half-sister to leading US jumper Hirapour and he's from the same family as Gordon Elliott's Grade 1 novice hurdle winner Three Stripe Life. It will be bumpers for him this season and he is undoubtedly an exciting long-term prospect.
