Hello Fat Jockeys,
Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum
We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Willie definitely liking those Zarak progeny though.
He's on my list, but based on his bumper RPR's he'd be behind a fair few currently, so I'm inclined to think along the lines of a handicap for him, though could be proven wrong.

Reckon it'll pay to keep a close eye on Danny Gilligan in Cheltenham handicaps this season - looks like he's Gordon's new Jordan Gainford.
The Galway Plate victory was the 17-year-old's 20th win so by my reckoning his claim is cut to 5lbs from now on. But I see the RP still have him down to claim the full 7 today. Imagine they're right and I'm wrong.
Anyway, I assume Gordie will be pretty keen to keep him under the 40 winner mark (when the 5lbs claim will come down to 3lbs) for next March.
It'll be interesting to see what (if anything) Danny rides in the Pertemps qualifiers and if he gets a leg up in a prep for a likely Pipe candidate.
(After-timing warning - apologies but it's only a tiny one) Ladbrokes kindly gave me a quid free bet yesterday which went on Ash Tree Meadow.
Was very interested to see yesterday that Glan (originally a reserve in today's Galway Hurdle) didn't have a jockey down and Gilligan wasn't on board any of Gordon's in the race.
Well, Danny's now been confirmed as the jockey which will put bottom weight Glan on 10st 5lbs (assuming the RP are right).
She was 4th last year off a 5lbs lower mark (130) than today but carried 10st 12lbs with Luke Dempsey in the plate - giving 1lbs to the winner Tudor City.
Reckon Zarak The Brave and Filey Bay will have to go some to give Glan a stone on his favoured yielding ground - and following two decent prep races which brought her 2 victories.
And who did Glan beat into third place in his most recent prep - a 1m 3f flat race at Rosscommon?
None other than yesterday's hero Ash Tree Meadow.
Needless to say, the 0.9pts Ladbrokes winnings are on Glan at 10-1 to give Danny an amazing big race double at his local track.Last edited by nortonscoin200; 3 August 2023, 01:57 PM.
