  • Cheltenham bes tickets advice help for 2024

I am booking for Cheltenham and need some help picking the best tickets to enjoy the Tuesday and the Friday

Would prefer to experience the festival with different tickets each day. So to that end I have already bought , Wednesday , Thursday tickets and looking for a different experience for the Tuesday and Friday

    On the

    Wednesday -already bought

Club Admission with Horses for Courses Tour

    Thursday - already bought

Club & Guinness Grandstand (Guinness Grandstand

So it leaves me with seeking a different experience on Tuesday , and Friday (preferably pay for somewhere quieter on the friday as it sells out , maybe a restaurant w drinks package,)

I want the view , the atmosphere, not watching it on a bloody screen.

I went 10 years ago once on the Tuesday, I now live in Australia and this will be my last trip back to UK so it's bucket list all 4 days

Appreciate the passion and experience in this forum for any advice from those that may have been there many festivals and done it all.

So just need to sort out

    Tuesday and Friday

So far advice been given is re restaurants is all of below are potentially worth doing

    The horse and groom restaurant
    Green room
    Chez rous
    Cleeve suite
    Gild cup restaurant
    Horseshoe pavilion

    Any expertise or feedback welcome

      • Banprionsa - She was entered for the Cheltenham tattersalls sales but was then withdrawn. She clocked the fastest time on the day at Lingstown on the 12th march when winning her maiden point, a card which also included Jalon d’oudairies maiden point win, a ?420k purchase at the cheltenham sales.

A Kayf tara mare out of Midnight Angel. Kayf Tara’s Cheltenham festival winners include, Thistlecrack (stayers hurdle), Edwardstone (Arkle), Special Tiara (Champion chase).

Midnight Angel has produced 4 NH offspring, 3 of which have run in grade 1’s at the Cheltenham festival, West with the wind (2011 Arkle), midnight game (2012 supreme) and New years Eve (2012 Bumper). The other is a once raced 6yo gelding in training with Olly murphy. Those 4 were sired by fasliyev, Montjeu, motivator and camelot. Arguably better known for their flat progeny whereas Banprionsa is by a Leading NH Sire.

I’ll be keeping my eye out for this classy mare.

If anyone has any information about this mare it would be much appreciated.

          • Any chance that we can separate the Member Diaries sub-forum from this main forum. The main Racing Forum Index shows all threads as read when they're not and I think that the Diaries bit is over-riding this information in the index.

We also know he won't be seen again until next year now.

It's the same bumper as Chasing Fire won last year, but comparing the two performances visually, is like chalk and cheese. The way IB hits the line is incredible. The jockey couldn't pull him up. What he did after the line reminded me of two recent forum favourites (I won't mention their names for fear of hyperbole). I am not sure of course records etc. for Wetherby but 3mins 48secs on soft ground seems quick to me. That was a truly striking performance. I'll be very interested in his RPR. Worth noting the right horse was in behind; Doc McCoy (RPR 104, 107), and he seemed to run his race.

After the race, the performance gets the usual Twitter reception; Josh Stacey gives him the eyes, a Cheltenham branded account calls him Constitution Hill's brother etc. It was therefore surprising to see Denise, Hills and PP offer 50/1 about him for the Supreme. His price won't go out between now and autumn as he's being put away. 50/1 with cash out seems fair to me. Sometimes you have to trust your eyes.
RPR of 125 for Indeevar Bleu. Highest rated debut bumper performance by a British trained horse this year. I believe that's the fourth highest debut RPR of the year too, behind just Fact To File (132), Western Diego (130), and It's For Me (128).

Oh so you can actually read rather than posting the same thing over and over.

I like to presume the best in people and you are just after advice. But youve been given all the opinions you're going to get. No one can live your life for you, you just have to pull the trigger.

So please, stop endlessly posting the same posts about what tickets to buy, because it makes you look like a spammer and you'll get banned

10 posts of which 8 were repetition and 2 irrelevant. I’d say it’s odds on you’re a hand pump and that another forum would be better suited to your intellect. Run along old chap.
