Looking for some each way *value* bets to take on the favs I don’t like. Hit me up with some suggestions;
Facile Vega - Supreme
Honeysuckle - Mares
Lossiemouth - Triumph
Galopin Des Champs - Gold Cup
* I’d say 12/1+ is my kind of value but 8s will suffice

Supreme - Diverge 14s ew (not beat much but looked good)
Mares - echos in rain 7s. Ew (soz, improver this season)
Triumph - Zenta 25s ew (Willies 4th string but interesting, will need to jump better)
Gold cup - Conflated 12s. Ew (Gords no 1 for the race)
all of these are looking for a place IMO, not sure how much they will be a treat to the faves tho

British Horseracing Authority handicappers Andrew Mealor and Michael Harris join Lydia and Ruby in the studio to look at the weights for the Cheltenham Festi...
This weeks Road to Cheltenham has a lot of useful information for those that need or want to understand the handicap system more.
And why the weight announcements should not carry too many surprises.
The "Embargo" even got a mention, and well done for Kevin Blake for calling it out (owning up to having got the info). It was clearly sent out to a select few, and shared.
Most of it I was au fait with but the news that they rate every Irish race and just don't publish them, was not so much a surprise it just makes the decision of Elliot to keep entering horses stupid and pointless.
I'd assumed him emailing to ask, rather than entering, would incur a bit of work for the handicapper if he did it in bulk, but if they have a mark already this would appear not to be the case and he is just wasting owners money.
I also imagine that anyone could email and ask the handicapper also !
