Yep, very impressive. Built like her brother Mighty Potter. That Dam Matnie producing some very good horses. I took an interest in Caldwell Potter because of it, unfortunately looks like he's going to be needing 5 miles + though .

Will be watching this one closely.

Yeh, I was impressed. Was there any word from connections afterwards?

assistant trainer Ian Amond said afterwards:-

"She is bred to be smart but until they go and do it you, you don't really know. She was very impressive.

"I was watching it at the last fence and she was three or four lengths clear but didn't realise she won by 13. She was getting plenty weight being a four year old but you couldn't be anything but impressed by her.

"She has size and scope and will fill out and is one to look forward to. We'll see what Gordon and the owners want to do next in a few weeks time."

Had been tracking that one since the derby sale last year. The Dam is almost bullet proof with her progeny and I reckon I could sire a maiden winner with her!

Saw after the race she was bought for €310k. Unreal success for the dam. Do you know who else she has visited over the last 4 years?

Totally agree, I’d be very surprised if panther doesn’t go off favourite. Good claimer up also taking off 7. Reading between the lines I imagine Willie thinks this could be a good one. Mentioned in the racing tv tour earlier that he still has 1 or 2 to come out for the bumper. Then in his blog for tomorrow he mentions how he needs to get ballyburn out now. I’d assume he’s saying that because we’re getting close to Cheltenham and he needs to see if it’s good enough. Does also mention that it would prefer softer ground. I personally think Irish panther will be extremely hard to beat and if Patrick rides ballyburn the way he rode Sharjah, he’d need to start now

One of the most expensive stores I’ve seen and you can see why. The 2021 and 2022 foals seem to both be by Doctor Dino.

                • Great to see Pipe and Scu on Luck on Sunday

What a great partnership they have been

Hoping Scu will take a prominent role in the running of the sport as he seems made for that role

Neil Channing has some good views aswell but coming on such a show looking like you have been dragged out of bed in your pyjamas makes it hard to take him seriously

                  • Today feels like a day to go through every single race and do some trimming and a bit of splurging.

Ooooooh I'm getting excited. No interaction with the outside world now for a month. Apart from work getting in the way, obviously.

Think we're doing a podcast on Friday too, not sure exactly what we're doing yet (as ever) but any suggestions will be listened to and probably ignored...

                        • How do you qualify for all these free bets with skybet that I keep hearing about? Just started using my account again after not using it for a long time, had a quick look around on site but couldn’t see anything about a rewards club or anything like that.

Log in and go to menu and find sky bet club and opt in. It isn't an option for me anymore but I can still see where to click on the site/app.
