Was just about to say this, no idea what it's all about but nothing to worry about, happened to me last year.

No,but I can check any race if there's a particular horse you're interested in,I could copy / paste the scratchers but no doubt it'd look messy.

He ain’t winning owt off that mark. He’d have to be good enough to win one of the graded races.

                    Agreed.
Ballymore or nothing in terms of him running

elliott has probably looked at this route, because he got touched off by marine nationale and then champ kiely, in grade 1's.
He knows irish point is good, 148 in a handicap as a novice will be hard but he's better off in a handicap maybe 5/6lb ahead of his mark then running in a supreme or ballymore where he knows there's already 1 too good in each race, probably.
i wouldn't personally take this approach but we all know how elliott operates

And Gordon can always put a top claimer on him.

exactly, and the mark all of a sudden becomes a very winnable one

The mark is completely unchanged. It's down to the individual's perception how much advantage the claim gives but the claim is there for a very good reason.

Are there any claimers right now that offset their whole claim?

Possibly someone like Mikey o Sullivan, since he’s won the royal bond and Nathaniel Lacey with two good rides where his claim wasn’t of use. It’s obviously very subjective but there’s a few like him who you’d consider very good value. Philip Byrnes looked pretty assured on blazing khal too.
