    • Some interesting numbers from Keenan and Delargy on twitter today

Horses that failed to make the four on a run within 6 weeks of the Festival are 6/315 in Gr1s at the meeting since 2003. Winners with Vanillier, Labaik, Black Hercules, Uxizandre, Lord Windermere and Voy Pour Ustesdes. 27 placed.

      7/63 2/55
      3/55
      10/66
      5/61

That's the winners/runners figures for Cheltenham Festival runners who had prepped at DRF in last five years.

Interestingly the 2/55 was run on good ground

            • How many of them were actually fancied for Cheltenham / had a reasonable excuse for.not finishing top 4 LTO? I always need more

              • 2 bookmakers have asked me to complete some survey about Safer gambling. Is this a trap? With affordability checks and what not, I'm hesitant to complete these and something coming off them! Anyone else received the invite to complete these?

I'd look at the wording, check to see if you are obliged to complete this, if not then ignore...

                  • Quite a few winners came from this weekend last year - Arkle, Mares, Boodles, Hunter Chase, Mares Chase.... How many do we think this year?

There can't be many that have a run after this weekend (4 weeks or so out) that go on to win in March.

                      ….there’s always the Imperial Cup.

Ahhh, those were the days when Martin Pipe used to get one to win the Imperial Cup and then 3/4 days later at the Fez.

                        • ….Mullins on his weekend runners (and FV);

Willie Mullins reflects on a magical Dublin Racing Festival and provides a guide to his Sunday team, including The Gunner Yeats at Navan.

                          • Bit of a random one and hopefully someone on here knows the answer, say if you backed a horse antepost and on the day all other horses withdraw and you end up with a walkover, do you get paid out on the winner? Or does the bookmaker void the bet?

                              Winning bet.
Though I can’t ever remember a race that is priced up ante post has ended with a walkover, but officially there is a winner of the race albeit by walkover…

The supreme last year was a walkover and I can confirm I got paid
