I am showing currently a loss of a fraction over 10% (10.25%) of my total point outlay, i am aware that this will get considerably worse the closer we get to the festival

I also have a few horses (JDB, FV) backed in more than one race, which will increase my overall loss when destinations are clear

Hovering around the 10% at the moment too

Last 5 festivals have averaged about 15% overall

I have only one Handicap bet so far ( Maxxum )

Usually wait for NRNB for these otherwise the % would be higher

I'm happy with anything below 25%. Under 30% is OK but i start worrying a little above that.

I would, ordinarily, not want to be above 20%, however, I have started the festival higher previously and still made profit, so I don't worry too much about it personally.

I imagine it would depend on each individuals approach of taking on the festival. I take the scatter gun approach for the most part, I'm happy to chuck a pt or two here or there as a complete punt (and likely lose it a lot of the time), others are a lot more selective so their losses are likely to be a whole lot smaller.

I got so lucky here, SportNations demise meant I gor refunded everything ante post and there were some horrific bets in there.
I wrote off 20+ points but got them back, twas a good weekend…
