Surely he’s had a good few quality horses to ride in the last 4 years to have added to the 24/25 he’s got so far at the festival?

Yeah I think the young guns thing is a much smaller risk... if Gordon wanted them riding at Cheltenham then you'd assume he'd want them riding at the DRF to gain experience too. Seems to me that price is basically 6/4 that Jack isn't back in time for Cheltenham, whether that's value or not you'd have to ask a doctor

Not a Cheltenham question exactly, but I was looking at the racing for this weekend and was looking at the 13:50 at Warwick. A grade 2 worth ?31k to the winner and (again) a disappointing turn out.

Out of interest, how much would it cost to enter a horse here (does that change per meeting/race or is it a set fee?), what are the minimum ratings to enter (if any) a graded race and how much would 4th be paid? And is it possible to find out how much 5th would have been paid if entered?

Quick note to all members to say the individual race threads will go up post DRF.
It's been an emotive subject for a few years with some wanting them up very early and some wanting them up very late, once the DRF is out the way we should have a better idea of targets which will prevent some of the mass duplication we've had previously...
