I quite like off the Fence for the opinions of T.K and B.G , but V.R's voice grates at me !! .

      • Was listening to Off the Fence, where they mentioned Jordan Gainford and Sam Ewing as able deputies for Jack Kennedy, it got me wondering if Davy Russell may be tempted out of retirement in light of Jacks injury

I do hope not just in case anything happened to him. Those two are able deputies and he'd get other top jocks to ride. Codd piece would be more than happy to grab several rides. He ain't a bad replacement.

Think the fact Davy bowed out in Thurles and didn’t hang around till Christmas Racing or the DRF hints at he’s done done. Be very surprised if he comes back.

Am sure he has other ventures lied up already too

            • Heading to OZ for a year or so in February. My GF is all panic about going and the only thing I am panicking about is not being able to bet for cheltenham. I know I can set an account up over there if needs be but I have plenty of funds in my betting account here.
just wanted to know what is the best way to go about betting over there with my Irish betting account. Will I be able to get a VPN installed on my phone to use the betting app? Sorry would not have much of a clue about VPNs and any suggestions to which VPN to use?

Codd is a good shout as someone who can step in,of course he wouldn't be doing many low weighted runners,so if he does get jocked up for one in a handicap this could be a pointer in itself.

I've been in Oz and been able to bet & watch racing using a paddy power account & used my BF account to to lay off some bets, had no issues at all infact which surprised me.
Enjoy your trip,it's a great place to visit.

Yeah I'm pretty certain the probability of Davy coming back is 0

Oz has minimum bet guarantees and bookies in pubs, you'll be grand

                            • I need to get a gig as a racing manager, particularly someone with horses with Willie. From what I see you just have to do an interview repeating what he said, sounds like an absolute doss. Anyone got an in?
