May sound weird to say but even though Palledium didn't place or win I'm happy the horse gave it a go. Looked alright for most of the race just fitness was lacking. I had a saver on the winner since I knew it liked heavy ground from its French run earlier in career, but I'm happy with a losing 50/1 weirdly at least it gave the race a go.

I know we generally hear about the good punting but I've genuinely not had a worse days punting for as long as I can remember
It was one of them days that I question everything about how I approach horse racing and if I should even bother!
I might sign off until Cheltenham and then just after time the s**t out of it, thats how bitter I'm feeling about the day
Anyway, I hope you all had better days than me, it wouldn't be hard to
On to Naas tomorrow

All 5 of them came second
The only bet i won was laying bo zenith
I have a chronic case of seconditis
I had a really good flat season, likely because the ground was good all summer so the form had consistency. Jumps season has been dreadful, landing an ante post bet on bravemansgame, conflated in the savills and the big dogs two wins just about keeping me from disaster in the jumps so far.
hopefully saving my luck for Cheltenham
