    Did consider this myself FM

Don’t see him as been the ideal type though

Need to be quite nimble for the quick twists and turns

I hadn't checked today but 33s was in a couple of places at the end of last week. Just had a look and 20s is best price quoted.

I didn't back him but the entry at the weekend did make me think twice. 20s is a bit tight though.

I’d imagine the post race comments indicating he won’t be going back in trip.

….I notice they have withdrawn it from their Supreme market, no idea if that’s temporary. It looks like they have pushed it out for Ballymore & cut it into 20-1 for AB.

I've got Quais De Paris still greyed out, and hes not even run yet, not that I plan on cashing him out, but still, 365 should not be relied upon for cash out now.

                Absolutely.

Theyve changed their policy and algorithms on Antepost Racing bets, and nothing can be taken as 100% likely to be there as Cashout all the way though to race day

If you want more certainty on Cashout then PP and Betfair are the ones.

                • Today, the New BHA Publication (delayed as usual) was released online the Jumps Pattern and Listed book.

I have been able now, to update all 9 Handicap Threads, Post 1 Page 1 for all of them, now I know the early entry dates, handicap weights day, and that all of the handicap races have had no increase to their prize money from last season.

Also loaded the 2022 results, handicap marks of the win and placed horses etc, and a bit on the Unibet early prices, which are very silly, of course.

So, I’m ready and primed to bring them forward onto the front page here, as soon as we are ready.

The publication is below on a link if anyone wants to follow the early entry dates for the big races.

Link can be saved on your PC, Tablets and Smartphones, as a Bookmark if you need to refer to it throughout the season.

                  • Just watched this weeks Upping the Ante

Maybe it’s me but I think it’s getting more cringe by the week

No wonder Johnny Dineen can’t afford a jumper with the horses he is backing

I am watching now in the hope that whatever David Jennings picks is not in my Antepost portfolio

                    So far so good

It's considerably worse now Gavin isn't on it

The new guy is alright but he doesn't look or sound overly comfortable being in front of a camera

I'd never followed there tips ever, rather pick my own losers, but the quality of the show has definitely dipped

It was on a par with road to Cheltenham previously, id say its now a good bit below

                      • At an event sat listening to a speech from the new Gambling Minister. Apparently the White Paper will be published within weeks (possibly this side of Christmas). Interesting comments about the balance between freedom and protecting the vulnerable.

Inevitably he’s not going to say much pre-publication, but some interesting comments, notably in the Q&A afterwards about the focus more on online given last update was nearly 20 years ago… Nothing asked about affordability checks yet. Will see if I can ask the Q and report back later.

                          Interesting.
Odd that no-one has asked about the financial interrogation when this is the single biggest reason people move away from UK regulated bookies and use overseas unregulated ones.
The Racing Post ran a story this morning saying some 460,000 punters have moved over to unregulated bookie at a cost of 100m to the industry, and any further regulation will only add to this...

                          • Surely, the 'vulnerable' get hooked on casino games rather than sports betting. Enforce separation of the 2 entities and most of the issues will disappear from sports betting although it will inevitably mean fewer special offers.

We’ve done this to death over the years archie but whatever government is in power seems incapable of applying logic and common sense.

In the meantime feel free to take out a payday loan at a million percent interest, go mad in a department store, dine at a michelin star restaurant and get smashed on ?1000 bottles of wine…

                              • Anyone think Lostintranslation might be good value for the Coral gold cup this Saturday? Dropped to mark or 150 plus a 7lb claimer but don't know much about the jockey but a race which looks winnable considering the horse does well after a long break too and has been better than its mark previously?
