    • I'm in Liverpool for the November Cheltenham meeting, can anyone recommend any city centre bars that will be good to watch the racing in ? Thanks.

….such a wide choice depending on your choice but racing is very popular and most boozers with a telly have it on as long as the footy doesn’t coincide. Suggest you find a pub you like, settle in & enjoy.

Thanks mate. I've been round city centre many times and watched the footy there but with the November meeting being on at Cheltenham i thought i may need to find a racing pub !

              • …..Queens Brook turned over at odds-on, maybe an over-reaction pushing her out to 14-1 for the Mares Hurdle given how difficult she is to train.

Was surprised to see her so short on seasonal debut. Is she the first of the ‘back after defeat FTO’ brigade?

She just ain't good enough imo. One that will always find one or two too good and downs tools. A sulker. She's a bad egg.

I seem to remember Gordon saying she was hard to get fit last season, though I may be misremembering

He was certainly very keen on her in his stable tour

                          • Blimey, why would you cash both?

If I was going to cash it'd only be the lucky 31.

Holy cow, I get your point and I'd probably do the same, but imagine winning best part of 60k on the horses... that would change my life like you couldn't believe!

                              • Probably should have left the Lucky rolling, but hey... I've been in a similar position for WAYYY less and cashed out lol.
Those 35-40 minutes going into the final leg where horrible, i was pacing up and down, couldnt make my mind up. It was only when the horses lined up, that I decided to leave it running... but it was a false start. Saw that as someone telling me "its going to lose" so cashed out. Logic all goes out the window when you're under pressure like that
I think we'd all love to be in that punters shoes, but I tell you what, I imagine its stressful as hell

End of the day, he's won a massive pot and fair play. Good call I say, all it takes is for the horse to fall or run out... or just lose lol
