  • He's a juvenile, and only once raced so it would most likely be the Triumph or he's not good enough. More likely he has a season off though. He was second in his France in race so there's no rush to push on with him, and he may be more of a Supreme type next season.

He's one to add to the trackers and wait for any word from the stable tours.

      • For those who registered to take part in the consultation the Jockey Club have now sent the survey out for people to complete.
Your chance to have your say on a five day festival though I can't help feeling the decision has already been made...

What a fantastic days cricket it could be.

Hope so! I'm heading down for it, few things make a Yorkshiremans ears prick up quite like the words 'free tickets'.

I think a 5 day festival will be another big step towards me not going anymore. I haven't for the last 2 years due to COVID and at times sitting with a beer at home with an extra couple of hundred in my war chest is pretty appealing. Throw in a potential downdialing of value for money ticket wise and it pushes me a bit further away

I have that character trait within a member of my family.

                  • For anyone with a betbull account, they are ceasing trading on the 3rd july and advising withdrawal of funds asap. Only problem is they having technical difficulties with withdrawals atm. I forgot all about them and only opened an account for the new customer bonus, but i do have funds to release. They really are a piss poor outfit and i should have just kicked them into the long grass a long time ago and hope i don't end up regreting it

                    • Blood is boiling after completing the Jockey Club 5 day festival survey. I see absolutely no benefit for me. Would happily trade in my membership to go to DRF each year instead.

Yeah just completed the survey myself! Best case scenario if they do move the festival to 5 days is the 6 races a day. Like most i’d prefer it to stay at 4 but I think it’s inevitable.

hope everyone also wrote novices handicap chase as the race to add!

                        • It’s just a complaint mitigation exercise. Those metrics shown are there to justify their decision for a 5 day festival. Sockless wonders, football chants and coke here we come.

I said the novice handicap too.

Though I’m massively against the 6 races a day idea. 7 races a day is a proper raceday. Six is not enough for any meeting in the country - let alone Cheltenham.

                              Bang on the mark there.

Any idea of thinking it’s acceptable to go back to 6 races is beyond disgraceful, and it’s disrespectful to Racing fans, who fund plenty of prize money at the course through ticket purchases, consumption on the track, and of course levy from losing bets.

No other racecourse thinks that they should host 6 race ‘Festival’ meetings, how dare they have this as a cornerstone to their crappy 5-Day ideology.

Turning into a coke-filled Nightclub taking place in the Daytime?

……but the idea of having 5 smaller race days, because then kids can go in on a Saturday, amongst it all, is absolutely bizarre.
