    • Probably my least enjoyable day at the Fez today,,as soon as we set foot off the coach, we could tell the weather was in for the day.. I didn’t even see the course until the bumper race..
still some great racing to be seen..

          I feel robbed

Not sure I can bring myself to watch that back

            • At the festival for today and tomorrow (managed to avoid the rain thank goodness!) Would be nice to say hi to any FJs at the course - are there any plans for a meet up/pint today?

              • yesterday was tough for so many reasons...not getting to see the qmcc I had been waiting a year for and bmg being pulled late were two massive anti climaxes

Best thing i did all day was get a ?1 umbrella from poundland! by the last I think there were 50 people in beat mate cheering on vacile outside...at least we got a good view

horses that won on the ground prob marked up as even better than they looked

                  • Have made a donation to the forum, the best day I’ve ever had at Cheltenham. 2pt win on the exchanges at massive prices on commander of fleet (please don’t kill me after time police) Also had facile vega and American Mike which I got solely from this forum. Thanks everyone for all the hard work. Also the guy who talks about the juvenile hurdlers as love having a read through his posts.

Big fan of Quevega’s humour also!

Been antepost betting for 4/5 years now and the last couple of years I’ve been on here I’ve been making a really steady profit.

And I’d like to add the best part of the week for me So far was the aintree merchant withdrawing all his horses in a big strop

                    • Just hearing from friends who were there yesterday, of all ages, who left early, some as soon as the X country. Sounds like it wasn't just attritional for the horses but the humans too.

Problems getting out of car parks as well. Did the Fat Jockeys stay the course until after the bumper?

I was there the full day. Feels like I've just dried out

I had never been so glad to get back to the car after a days racing. We stayed the full day, more through stubbornness than anything else. My friends coat and boots proved not to be as waterproof as she thought so was completely soaked to the skin for most of the day. Noticed the course clearing out from after the 4th race onwards. Wimps

Thankfully we were parked on solid ground as I don't think we'd have managed to get off the grass. Saw a fair few cars with hazards on waiting to get towed out.

Still, a wet day at the festival is better than a wet day anywhere else

I left before the Bumper, I just couldn't take it anymore once it started to get cold.

My jacket has been hanging in the boiler cupboard all night and the pockets are still wet
