Thanks. Don't know what to make of that. Can you make head or tail of it ?? What race are they saying they looked at?

My assumption was the plate. Would say if he goes for the plate (or the ultima) they feel he isn't well handicapped. Clearly not a strong target in mind for him anyway, not quite sure why they'd bother bringing him over for a run around though.

He's much lower over Hurdles so I'd say the Coral Cup with a claimer on would be his Only winning opportunity.

Nobody expects Fez runners to be not-off so helps get the UK mark down.

            • ….perhaps deserves a mention of sad news here; Shane Warne has died aged just 52.

Jesus Christ no age to go. Very sad indeed.

                      • Had the privilege of watching Warne bowl many times, both here & in Australia. Even saw him hit a fifty once!

The greatest spin bowler of all time, and one of the best bowlers full stop.

A great cricketing mind too, would’ve made an incredible captain had he not had so many run ins with the authorities.

I was there for his 500th test wicket at Lords on the first day of the 2005 Ashes and the atmosphere was incredible. He was an absolute master, a magician who played to the crowd and kept the batsman spellbound. I can barely believe he’s gone - so very sad.

                          • Once spent three hours in 2001, on the West Terrace at Headingley next to a mate of mine called big Jim.
He was big and called JIm.
He stood on his seat through a whole session shouting "Shane" at the top of his voice.
Not sure he ever got a response, as I succumbed to the Stella and became the foundations of a Beer carrier tower (true story)

He's one of those sportsmen everyone knows about, best compliment I could give was he was the George Best of cricket. Better than everyone else and got people not interested in the sport to watch it when he was involved. Loads of women on the go, very sad to hear but he lived some life getting paid to wallop the English
