Personally I would say yes. I use the cash out option as a n insurance and as a result place far too many bets, many knee jerk which I wouldn’t normally place without. This year has been a definite lesson in finger burning as I have suffered as most of us have from placing panic bets and

i backed Ferny @ 33-1 for the Arkle. When the rumours were circulating I cashed out (with PP) for a very healthy profit. It was agonising pressing that button, but literally within minutes cash-out was suspended. I’d have still backed FH @ 33-1 regardless of cash-out function.

Cash-out is a facility. I think it’s a big difference to NRNB as that allows you to comfortably back the same horse in a number of races.

On the emotion thing, I think as an 18YO new to gambling a long time ago that was my downfall, getting too emotional either high or low about betting and the sooner you can get out of that mindset the better punter you become imo. I also found that it also made me more selective in my punting too!

Yes although my account was immediately limited before Id had chance to place a bet (I later found out this was due to the company being linked to VirginBet who had already given me the boot in the past).

I don't know if anyone has had similar issues but I'm beginning to wonder whether the SBTech skins (10bet, netbet, Redzone, VirginBet etc.) are sharing data between each other as I've had a few instances now where I've opened accounts with a new SBTech skin and have been immediately limited, before placing a bet.

This definitely didn't used to be the case and seems to have started in the past 12 months or so. It's a shame as the SBTech skins do have their uses.

Tempted to double Iceo in that race with Pied Piper in the triumph... Get him on side a bit more.
Possibly a big ask for a 4yo but the rest look a fairly average bunch and obviously gets a decent amount of weight for his age.

Fair points. Was just putting it out there. Can’t say they’ve backed it with “big bucks”.

I know he has come on well from when he only last 1 1/4 lengths to Balco Coastal in December and they are very pleased with him. He was priced up for Supreme before entries at a shorter price than Shallwehaveonemore who he takes on today. I’m not advocating people put there mortgage on I’m just happy that in an 8 horse race at 9/1 knowing what I know he offers good value.

I agree with Iceo looking a good bet though.

I placed a bet on Galahad Quest for todays Kempton race and on oddschecker Skybet indicated 5 places but it is down as a loser and the bet shows 4 places, I tried calling them but they don't answer the phone and advise using twitter and I don't hold a twitter account, any advise.

Sometimes they say in the T&C’s that the extra places are only valid with a certain number of runners. Were there a few late non-runners?
