They've probably just calculated how much their having to give back to FJ members and haven't got the cash-flow just yet!

A question for those who have been at this antepost thing for longer than me. How are you finding it this year compared to previous years?
This is only my 4th year doing it but it feels like the hardest so far, with trouble narrowing down targets, poor early prices from the bookies, injuries (mainly the Arkle for me) etc.
I know most thought last year was a freakishly good one for most people, and not the norm, but would you say this year is tougher than normal or just about average? Just curious to hear people's thoughts.

I had to laugh/cry - looking through my early season ante post bets I’ve just found this…..
Supreme - Jonbon 12/1
Arkle - FH 8/1
Ballymore - JWM 16/1
RSA - BMG 8/1
Mares Nov - ADV 16/1
E/W Canadian….so Jonbon or BMG will win just to take the p**s & the other won’t place - been doing ante post since 2004 & that is one of my best nut kickers I can remember
Gonna stop buying Howard’s book!!!! Always look great in Oct don’t they!

We'll get a few more curveballs before the 15th March.
The key is an even mind and not reacting emotionally when the reversals happen. That's when you make mistakes. My advice and approach is to always take a step back, think it through, and then look at how you can create the best position from the current situation. What's already gone is too late. It's pointless dwelling. Always look at what positive steps you're going to take.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

The most noticeable difference this year to all previous is the speed Cash Out is being removed and then left greyed out afterwards by the leading Bookmakers who offer it such as B365 & Betfair. They clearly have recruited or dedicated staff to monitor social media and have contacts with contacts of the major stables passing information onto them before it is widespread.
It does take the fun it of antepost betting and I’ve threatened to do it before but have yet but I’m seriously considering just saving up for NRNB next year to save all this hassle and just backing who I fancy and not bothering covering so many horses as I have over the past few years.
