Not looked at race at all, but from top of my head, has a very good record at the track. I’m waiting to be convinced Nathaniel

So I know it had a bad run last time, but its been dropped 6lbs for it and the same race its racing in its been placed in the following:

19th Feb 2022 Ascot ? mark 140
20th Feb 2021 Ascot 2nd mark 150
15th Feb 2020 Ascot 3rd mark 146
16th Feb 2019 Ascot 3rd mark 152
17th Feb 2018 Ascot 1st mark 150

I think the trainer just seems to aim for this race alot, plus last time it won it was on a mark of 145 and that was also at Ascot. I can only think the horse has had a prep run and it was in a slighter harder race last time and gotten ready for this one, I could be wrong but 20/1 I think is worth taking just incase.

Yes I think there’s some value in that price, getting a bit old in the tooth, but I would not be surprised if there a good run in there. Think I’ll join you

I absolutely love the old boy, have backed him many times and had money back from him many a time (good odds place money in the main). However, his 14 years of age cannot be totally
ignored and his mark dropping could just be a result of old Father Time and not trainer induced.

I know it’s all we ever want, but with my particular attachment to this old boy all I wish is that he comes back safe and sound.
