Follow a team in red and blue from a City that the Vikings and Romans have had their way with at various points, present day invasion comes most weekends at the hands of potty mouthed Love Island rejects waving inflatable cocks. Been to more non-league grounds than anyone should ever have to suffer, the only positive at our current level is the abundance of beer tents at away grounds and being allowed to drink in view of the pitch generally. I'm so out of the loop now that I didn't even realise you were League 2 which hasn't helped me feel any better about it all although fair play!

And I thought I'd had it bad prior to 2018 onwards. Hopefully York find their way back soon.

?10million in debt (and counting) falling to this level, the England test cricket set-up have nothing on us when it comes to making incompetence an artform! ?20 to get in too, amazing anyone still bothers. Hope you lot stay up, you've waited long enough and more than served your time! Seeing Harrogate in L2 breaks me, we used to send youth team XI's to them in pre-season, now they loan us their fringe players to get them game time

They are quite irritating, they seem to have followed us up since they found their way to the National League North and beyond. We are far from the best supporters club but our away support is pretty decent and I enjoy it more when clubs like yourselves bring 400+ rather than 80 on a Saturday from the likes of them.

How's the new ground working out? I used to love going to Bootham Crescent and it's such a shame it is no more.

Never been inside it, like a fair few i've been boycotting til the chairman leaves. By all accounts it's a decent ground though and the acoustics are good, but ?20 to watch regional Div 6 football is insane and it's 3 miles out of town so never going to be as fun for home and away fans as BC was. I'll still be back in an instant once it's right to do so, you'll know as well as anyone, once you're in this nonsense you're in for life! A bit like Cheltenham except I actually enjoy that

            • Lads, anyone willing to share a bet tracker excel spreadsheet they use for Cheltenham. Not looking for anything fancy but just something user friendly and not overly complicated.

              Cheers in advance

                • Gordon prob has the most options in hurdles of all the top trainers.......not sure how many, if any, will win, but he has a strong hand to shuffle

He has also had mixed experience with Spuds, so where does everyone currently think they will go....and are there any opportunities???

Key ones and their RPRs by race are as follows...

                  Ginto 128, 143, 147

                  Might Potter P 137, 139, 143

                  Gerry C 137

                  Hollow G 139, 127, 140

                  Three Stripes Life 135, 142

                  Min Croon 132, ??

                  Starter for ten...

Supreme - Mighty Potter, Three Stripes Life

Ballymore - Gerry Colombe (if goes at all?), Ginto

Sounds - Hollow Games, Minella Crooner

The one that still stands out for me is Ginto in Ballymore......why go Spuds given connections have HG and won key trial ??

                    • Just as a general comment, the price of the Festival Lounge at ?80 is ludicrous. Used to be a hidden gem as the final flight...

I have booked for day 1 of the Festival, had it for the November meeting where it was ?40....just not sure how they can justify the jump from that to ?80.

99% sure it’s the Novice chases.

The prices generally bar best mate which remains good value, are fairly outrageous imo, especially club

It will sell out and all the time it does Cheltenham will keep pumping up prices.
Everyone is at it, not just Cheltenham or racecourses in general.
I spoke to someone a while back who predicted bumper crowds, turnover everything, there's a feeling punters missing out on last year will be on a mission this year and that is certainly being replicated in puns, restaurants, hotels, cottages etc all of which charged chunks more in Oct/Nov/Dec compared to the same meetings pre covid.
                                It’s life these days sadly…
