3rd Master Chewy sold for ?300k

I don’t think I’ve seen three horses from the same race purchased for such amounts before but that is not the only reason to follow these three. The fourth home, An Mhi, who is a half brother to Slate House, was trained by Gordon Elliott for Eddie O’Leary. Apparently Gordon & Eddie’s horse ‘couldn’t be beat’ which means the horses in front must have been very decent. Gordon bought the first home (Present Soldier) so he’s one to follow for sure and could be another for the Morans given the price tag.
Very interesting. Appreciate that, thanks JackieMoon33

Noticed this earlier, very interesting indeed, all worth noting

        • Kabongo scores again and Weymouth down to 10 for last 65 mins hopefully he can score a couple more.

Edit: Goal number 2 just before half time, the lad is flying.

            • Has anyone got a link for the horses that were balloted out of the PP gold Cup?

              • Not sure what you mean by balloted out, were there any ? Any way this is the list of the original 37 entries if it helps.

                • I’ve also backed Threeunderthrufive and Does He Know again with Hills in the TWAR market, both trainees must be either getting them qualified for NHC or Handicaps at Festival early and then putting them away until spring as this will be there 3rd run in 6 weeks and 2nd run in a month at a left handed course. I’m probably wandering up the wrong path as always following another horses scent but I think neither will go for the BANC, I fancy Does He Know for Ultima and Threeunderthrufive for the NHC

                  • Fair play to Ted Walsh, faced up to the questions of the raid during the week in Ireland on the racing yard in Kildare. Much ado about nothing is the general feeling amongst the racing community. The substances are not certified in the EU apparently, its not that they are illegal seems to be the general summary

                    • ITV "we need rain"

Give it 2 weeks and it will be too soft to run

Absolutely fantastic isn't it! The addition of Ruby to ITV and RTV is a great thing to have, his knowledge of racing is unmatched and is head and shoulders above the McCoy and the rest. Great, great listen - I could listen to him all day long.

                          • I've not seen this horse discussed but I do feel it's worth a mention. Deva Racing Group sent an email to all members as they've had a bit of a scare with Captain Tom Cat. Thankfully he's had a stable night and has eaten but they have said he will have a long rest now and the plan is to run him at the festival next time he's entered.

                              • I know we've had some disappointing races with number of runners down but the Betfair Chase could be a very good renewal - especially in terms of numbers and competitiveness.
                                Pleasantly surprised.
